- Nonexclusive limited license:
Customer may not sub-license, assign, or transfer this license to anyone else without prior written consent from SymbolTools company. Any questions about this license can be asked using this email.
SymbolTools reserves the right to change the license for itself.
Each product is provided under GPL license with valid one-year customer support license for a single installation on the live site if no other conditions are noted. The extension can be installed on multiple servers, but the support is provided for single installation only. During this year customer is provided with support (for functionality in a product description) and free updates for purchased product. After year has expired customer is able to prolong it for additional price. In other case extension will continue functioning, but customer will not be able to get free support or product updates.
The download link is sent to customer right after payment. In case of technical difficulties this may take up to 24 hours. SymbolTools uses FastSpring as secure and safe payment processor.
SymbolTools products are electronically delivered only. Boxed products, discs and manuals are not available. Graphic depiction of box are used for display purposes only.
- Modifications and ownership:
Each provided product comes with open sources under GPL license.
Customer may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of SymbolTools. Also all editorial content and graphics on our sites may not be copied without written permission of SymbolTools. Reuse of any editorial content and graphics from symboltools.com for any purpose without our permission is strictly prohibited.
Our products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall our juridical person be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.
Customer is authorized to make any necessary modification(s) to our products to fit his purposes. Customer may not change or remove the copyright information in the header of the files included in the purchased product.
If customer requires changes to the product he can request such changes as custom implementation.
- Support and updates:
SymbolTools offers support as a part of purchase. Questions can be asked via email. We try our best to respond within 24 hours but we can't guarantee it.
SymbolTools developers make their best to design components for the latest version of software these products are supposed to run on, but we can give no guarantee that the product will run with future versions of these software.
If a bug is found in our product, customer can let us know via email. Finding a bug is not a reason to request refund. The bug customer informed us about will be fixed in the next update of the product.
Customer can check demo of the product and list of available functions before purchase to make sure product suits his need.
If customer experiences problems installing and using our products he is welcome to request help via email.
Since there is a great amount of server configurations and it is impossible for us to test our products on every platform, but we try to do our best to test of as many platforms as possible.
If customer is unable to install and use the product he purchases within 30 days after buying it he is welcome to ask our help to get software work on his server.
We provide help in getting our products up and running on customer's server.
For this we will need access to necessary software and tools like: ftp, database, admin console. If we fail to get our software up and running on customer's server then we will give a refund. If customer can't provide us with necessary access then we will not be able to give him a refund.
